A portion of North 145th Street in Shoreline will remain closed through early 2025 as construction takes longer than expected. The one-block stretch of 145th Street between First Avenue Northeast and Fourth Avenue Northeast has been closed since April as crews work to widen the roadway as part of a traffic improvement project. The roadway, which provides direct access to Interstate 5, was expected to reopen in November. "Oh, it's been awful," said nearby resident Anna Phillips.
