A building that was leaning toward the sidewalk in downtown Enumclaw forced the city to close nearby streets Monday. A city employee notified the Enumclaw Police Department around 1:30 p.m. of the unstable building near Railroad Street and Griffin Avenue. The building, which was under construction, was failing and at risk of collapse, according to the Enumclaw Fire Department.
