A homicide investigation is blocking state Route 7 in both directions in Parkland. According to Sgt. Darren Moss with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, a man was found dead at the scene near 118th Street and Pacific Avenue. SR 7 is blocked in both directions south of state Route 512 near 118th Street. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, this will be "a lengthy closure."
