Two people are dead from separate fires that started early Wednesday morning in Seattle. One person is dead, another person is in critical condition and five others are injured after an apartment fire in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood. Seattle Fire Department (SFD) crews responded to the 100 block of Vine Street at around 2 a.m. When firefighters arrived they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the building. The fire originated from the third floor of the apartment building and spread to a fourth-floor unit directly above it. There is no information about a potential cause.
