Description
Level 3 Evacuation orders were issued Sunday in the Rex Creek area of Lake Chelan due to a wildfire that has grown to 300 acres, according to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
The DNR is responding to the Pioneer Fire located approximately 31 miles northwest of Chelan near the east shore. The fire is currently estimated at 300 acres.
It was first reported June 8 at 12:45 p.m.
