Detectives with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department are searching for a man accused of luring and raping a 19-year-old woman in Midland. According to PCSD, the assault happened on May 17 at 11:30 a.m. near the Kings Manor Senior Living Facility on Portland Avenue East. The suspect allegedly lured the victim into nearby woods after telling her that he needed help with an injured cat. He then reportedly punched her, knocked her down and sexually assaulted her.
