One person is dead after a shooting outside an apartment complex in Maple Valley. The King County Sheriff's Office and Maple Valley Police Department responded to the 22400 block of Southeast 240th Street at around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday night after receiving a report that shots were fired in the area. When officers arrived at the complex, they found a victim who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
