A Redmond High School counselor was arrested in Wyoming Thursday and has been charged with sexual misconduct with a minor. According to the Redmond Police Department, a 17-year-old student told Lake Washington School District staff last week about a romantic relationship they had with a counselor. The school district placed Derik Detweiler, 35, of Kenmore on administrative leave and notified Redmond police.
