Description
One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Everett Wednesday afternoon.
Police closed 41st Street between Rucker and Colby Avenue as they investigated the crash and crews cleared the scene. The road reopened just before 7:30 p.m.
The crash involved a semi-truck, box truck and two passenger vehicles, according to Everett Fire.
"I was actually on a delivery to deliver flowers," said Jeff Telgenhoff, whose family owns a local nursery. "I got hit, almost broadsided [by] a car that blew a stop sign probably doing 45 miles per hour."
The posted speed limit for cars entering 41st Street is 25 miles per hour.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash and only one person was injured, officials say.
