A fatal crash involving two cars is blocking all lanes of state Route 525 just south of state Route 99 in Lynnwood, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP). One person died and at least two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to South County Fire. Medics, fire crews and Washington State Patrol are on scene. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said deputies were chasing a suspect vehicle in connection to domestic violence assault and kidnapping of a woman who was inside the vehicle. The suspect driver began traveling in the wrong direction of traffic on the highway and deputies stopped the pursuit, the sheriff's office said.
