Two pedestrians were killed on I-5 in western Washington in less than 24 hours on April 5, according to law enforcement officials. A woman was killed on I-5 on Friday morning in Arlington and a man was killed on the interstate in downtown Seattle on Friday night. “We don’t know why the individual was running across the freeway. But unfortunately, they were deceased,” said Washington State Patrol Trooper and Public Information Officer Rick Johnson. The State Patrol said just before midnight on Friday a 20-year-old man ran across I-5 in Downtown Seattle near University Street and was hit by a car.
