Tacoma police are investigating a homicide after a woman was killed on Wednesday morning. Officers were called just before 10:45 a.m. for an unresponsive 38-year-old woman along the 3000 block of Tacoma Avenue. Emergency crews tried life-saving measures for the woman, but she was pronounced dead by the Tacoma Fire Department. A witness told KING 5 he was walking when he found the woman lying on the street at Tacoma Avenue South and South Delin Street. He saw some people rendering aid to the unresponsive woman.
