A 17-year-old girl was shot and killed in the Hilltop neighborhood in Tacoma on Saturday night. Tacoma Police Department officers responded to South Ridgewood Avenue and South 15th Street about 8:20 p.m. for reports of a possible shooting. The girl was taken to the hospital in a private car after she was shot, according to police. She died at the hospital.
