Ellensburg police said Friday they had identified and were tracking the man wanted in the fatal shooting of another person. "Officers are actively in the area in pursuit," Ellensburg police posted around 6 p.m., warning people to avoid the area of 9th and C streets. The suspect fatally shot a person near University Way and North Main Street on Friday. Police said the two knew each other.
