One woman was killed in Issaquah when a falling tree landed on top of the truck she was driving on Saturday morning, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO). Around 11:22 a.m., a “very large tree” fell onto Issaquah Hobart Road South near Southeast May Valley Road due to wind, according to KCSO. The falling tree landed on the roof of a brand-new truck that the woman, who was in her late 50s, was driving. The sheriff’s department said the woman was killed instantly.
