Seattle police are investigation two separate hit and runs that happened Feb. 17. In both cases police said a car drove onto a sidewalk and ran someone over. The first incident happened at Dexter Avenue North and Harrison Street where a man reported to police a car drove onto the sidewalk directly at him. The man said he tried to get out of the way but was hit and taken to the hospital with injuries to his hips and legs. A police report states security at an adjacent building saw what happened and showed police surveillance footage.
