A school in West Seattle is cleaning up a mess after a man smashed windows, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. "It's upsetting,” said Sally Heit, the admissions director of Hope Lutheran School. “You don't want to see that. No one enjoys watching anybody vandalize any property." On Tuesday afternoon, Heit showed the extensive damage to the school's north campus building, after someone shattered five windows early Sunday morning. "It's frustrating to see it damaged in this way,” said Heit. “Because we do have a lot of attachment and we know the potential this building holds for lots of West Seattle students." The school was planning to revamp its facilities, now those funds will go toward repairs.
