An 18-year-old accused of fleeing the scene of a deadly car crash that killed his girlfriend in Roy in November 2023 made his first court appearance on Friday. Nikolas Greinke pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide and failure to remain at the scene of a crash that resulted in a death. He remains in custody. His bail was set at $500,000. Greinke turned himself in Wednesday night after authorities issued an arrest warrant and were unable to locate him, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
