A man who allegedly fired shots at Everett police officers retreated back into a house after officers reportedly returned fire Wednesday afternoon. Police officers responded to a report of a weapon discharge in the 11400 block of Paine Field Way around 12:30 p.m. They tried to make contact with the man after he came out of the house, but he fired at them, according to the Everett Police Department.
