One person is dead after a shooting that involved a Pierce County Sheriff's deputy Wednesday afternoon, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. Sgt. Darren Moss with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department said the incident began around 11 a.m. when deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle near 96th Street and Steele Street in Parkland.
