A teenage boy died in a shooting at West Seattle’s Southwest Pool and Teen Life Center on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD). Officers responded to the 2800 block of Southwest Thistle Street, which houses the Southwest Teen Life Center and Southwest Pool, around 1:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting inside a bathroom at the facility, police said. The incident occurred on the pool side of the complex, according to the City of Seattle's public affairs manager. Seattle Fire Department crews attempted life-saving measures, but the teenage boy died at the scene.
