A Port Townsend man is in custody and authorities are investigating after a missing baby was found dead Saturday morning. The infant, less than one month old, was discovered deceased at Kah Tai Lagoon Nature Park just before noon. The cause of the death is under investigation. The investigation began on Friday afternoon when Port Townsend police were searching for a missing and endangered infant suspected to be with a 37-year-old man, who is believed to be the father.
