Pete Carroll is out as Seahawks head coach and is expected to move to an advisor role with the organization, according to a release on Wednesday morning. A statement from Seahawks Chair Jody Allen on Wednesday said the two sides agreed to amicably move on after "thoughtful meetings and careful consideration." Carroll leaves the franchise as the winningest coach in Seahawks history. In his tenure, Carroll won a Super Bowl in 2013 against the Denver Broncos, made another Super Bowl in 2014 and won 137 regular season games.
