The Edmonds Police Department issued a public safety alert Friday as officers continue to search for a suspect accused of shooting and killing a rideshare driver.
Abudulkadir Shariff Gedi, 31, was killed in his car near 236th Street Southwest and Edmonds Way on Wednesday night. Police said there is no known connection between Gedi and the suspect.
