Description
A deputy is uninjured and a suspect is in the hospital in serious condition after a police chase, shooting and standoff in Tacoma. The string of incidents began late Tuesday night and lasted into early Wednesday morning.
Pierce County Sheriff's deputies were pursuing a driver they suspected of driving under the influence as 11:24 p.m. on Tuesday night when the chase ended at a dead-end road at 4300 Vickery Ave. E. at around 11:28 p.m. Deputies told dispatch that shots had been fired.
