A Flood Watch remains in effect for most of western Washington due to an atmospheric river that is bringing heavy rainfall to much of the region. Many rivers are also under a Flood Warning Tuesday morning. The Flood Watch was issued Monday and will remain in effect through 4 a.m. Thursday. The National Weather Service (NWS) warned that heavy rain paired with high snow levels Tuesday into Wednesday has led to rapidly rising rivers.
