Description
Three employees were injured when a car crashed into a Puyallup restaurant on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Puyallup Police Department, 64-year-old Harold Hurley, suspected to be under the influence, crashed into Don's Drive-In around 1:30 p.m., causing the building's cinder block wall to collapse inward.
The crash caused a large fryer to fall onto a 48-year-old employee. He was trapped under the stainless steel cooker and was burned by the hot oil. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
