A woman who pleaded guilty to hiring two teens to kill her ex-husband in a Bellevue parking lot was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison. Shaerin Rose Kelley was sentenced to 165 months after admitting to hiring two 17-year-olds to shoot and kill her ex-husband, Baron Li. The sentence was higher than the state recommendation. The shooting happened at the Overlook at Lakemont Apartments on July 1, 2020. Li was shot nine times in the parking lot as he approached his car, but did survive.
