Description
On the witness stand Thursday, former Pierce County Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Clark, who performed the autopsy on Manuel Ellis’ body, explained to the jury how and why he came to his conclusions about Ellis’ death.
Clark ultimately cited Ellis’ cause of death as hypoxia due to restraint, with significant contributing factors of meth intoxication and cardiomyopathy (an enlarged heart).
