Description
Once a week, Rodney Richardson fills up his truck and drives around the streets of Tacoma, handing out supplies to the city’s homeless community through his outreach ministry, Sidewalk Rescue.
Whether it’s food, clothes, or toiletries, Rodney wants to be sure he and his volunteers are ready when they see someone in need, so he makes sure everyone has supplies in their cars.
“When you see a homeless person, boom! Jump out, pull it out of your back seat, hand it to them on the way out of the driveway, and then you’ve done your part,” he said .
But Rodeny said he’s concerned about how cold it’s gotten.
