Some MultiCare hospitals have suspended surgeries and procedures at some facilities after a network outage in the Puget Sound and Inland regions affected electronic health records and other systems. MultiCare said in a release the outage was caused by a service interruption with one of their vendors. The patients affected by the outage have been contacted, the hospital said in a statement. MultiCare has seven hospitals in the Puget Sound and two in Spokane. A spokesperson said "most" of the MultiCare hospitals suspended surgeries and procedures Monday but did not specify which of the locations were affected.
