Vice President Kamala Harris spoke about the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act and toured a Seattle facility that benefited from the legislation during a visit to the Puget Sound area Tuesday. Harris arrived at King County International Airport late Tuesday morning for her first visit to Seattle since last October. Harris touched down at Boeing Field around 11:15 a.m. VP Harris was greeted on the runway by a collection of the state's most notable politicians, including Gov. Jay Inslee, Attorney General Bob Ferguson, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harell and King County Executive Dow Constantine.
