Javan Runnels was a football player, an accomplished athlete and student. Runnels had just arrived in Tacoma on Friday. A few days later, he was on the way to a convention when he was tragically killed in an accident on state Route 509 in Tacoma. Runnels was loved by so many, according to family members.
