The White House and U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) launched Thursday a first-of-its-kind initiative to address the homelessness crisis in six parts of the country, including Seattle. USICH’s All In: The Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness (ALL INside), first announced in December, has a goal to reduce homelessness by 25% by 2025 in six communities. The communities include Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, the Phoenix Metro area, and the state of California. Through the initiative, USICH and 19 federal agencies will partner with state and local governments to help support their efforts to move people off the streets and into housing.
