Flights out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Friday are being canceled ahead of a winter storm that is expected to cause travel issues throughout western Washington.
Over 300 flights were already canceled by Thursday night, according to FlightAware, a flight tracking website.
The storm is expected to arrive Thursday night and continue through Friday morning. Freezing rain and snow are expected.
Almost all of western Washington is under a Winter Storm Warning until Friday evening. The bulk of the Puget Sound area will be under the warning until 7 p.m. on Friday, while Skagit, Whatcom and San Juan counties will be under the warning until 10 p.m. Friday.
