The Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue is remembering officer Jackson fondly for his contributions to the organization. Jackson helped with their affordable housing programs to help feed children in the community. Those who work there say he often played baseball with the kids in the club and was involved with their gift drives to make sure kids in need had presents to open on the holidays. "How much I knew him was through these events we had on site, and just to see him impact these kids, and you know the smiles on their faces when they'd come through, and be able to help out with different events was huge for us as an organization," said Lance Latimer with The Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue.
