Crowds flock at dawn to admire the famed cherry blossom trees of the US capital as they are about to reach peak bloom. "It's nice to see everyone kind of enjoying something peaceful that DC has to offer instead of all the hard political conversations that have been going on," says visitor Dana McClay, who came with her husband to show their 8-month-old daughter her very first cherry blossoms.
