Description
Five people died and four were seriously injured in a blast at a coal mine in northern Spain's Asturias region, the nation's deadliest mining accident in decades. "In the 21st century no one can die like this (...) I do convey, of course, to our country, that the weight of the law is going to fall on the possible responsibilities that may have been incurred here," says Second Vice-President of the Government of Spain and Minister for Work and Social Economy, Yolanda Diaz, during a visit to the mine after the accident.
