Description
The Pigeon Islets in Guadeloupe, renowned for their fish-rich waters and colourful corals, attract thousands of visitors every year. However, climate change, overcrowding, and pollution from the land are endangering the fragile ecosystem, which is supposed to be protected. "We see fewer large schools of fish," says Malika Jolo, who works at the Archipel Diving Club. "Many have disappeared, like the colas, which I see much less, and the platax," she adds.
