"The United States needs copper and is addressing the issue [of the tariffs] through a mechanism that we are confident will be satisfactory," says Ruben Alvarado, CEO of Chilean state-owned copper mining company Codelco, during the World Copper Summit [CESCO] in Santiago, Chile.
