Italian activists from the team of street artist Laika put up a banner in support of the environmental group Greenpeace in front of the US embassy in Rome. This comes after a US court ordered that Greenpeace pay over $660 million in damages to an oil pipeline company. Environmental defenders rallied behind Greenpeace in March after the shock ruling fuelled concerns that courtrooms were increasingly being used to smother critics. IMAGES
