Guinean opposition party leader Aliou Bah arrives at the Court of Appeal in the capital Conakry facing charges of insulting the head of the ruling junta, before the trial was postponed to April 16, a move that prompted incredulity from his party and lawyers. "We will be there at the hearing on 16 April 2025 to discuss this case and possibly plead for the pure and simple release of Mr Mamadou Aliou Bah, who is only being held here for his opinions," says Aliou Bah's lawyer Pepe Antoine Lamah.
