"Our demand is that Gaza be immediately declared a famine zone," states Mustafa Barghouti, head of the Palestinian Medical Relief Society, during a press conference in Ramallah held by the Palestinian NGO network PNGO. Barghouti also asks for "immediate intervention be undertaken to break the siege and impose protection for the Palestinian people in Gaza" and that "Israel be held accountable again in the International Criminal Court."
