The United Nations warns the cumulative impact of Israel's actions in Gaza threatens "the future viability of Palestinians as a group" in the war-torn territory. "There is the forcible transfer of the population, there is the denial of basic needs, and there are continued military strikes hitting civilian infrastructure and civilians,” says UN rights office spokeswoman Ravina Shamdasani.
