During an interview with AFP, American actress Ellen Pompeo opens up about the ambiguous adoptive mother role she plays in the series Good American Family, which will air in France starting 7th May on Disney+. She describes the role as "difficult" and imbued with "darkness", very different from that of Dr. Meredith Grey, a character she portrayed for two decades. The 55-year-old actress says she now wants to play "complex characters and roles" and discusses the "unbelievable" situation in the United States since Donald Trump's return to power.
