The state was allowed to admit the recording of Germany Hines' testimony from juvenile court. He’s the only eyewitness who has put the defendants outside Austin-East High School in the Nissan right before Stanley Freeman Jr. was shot. What the jury doesn’t know is that Hines was shot and killed in December outside the Walter P. housing development. KPD said the case is still unsolved.
