The Blount County Sheriff's Office responded to 1105 Jacob Springs Blvd on reports of a domestic dispute. Two BCSO deputies were shot after an estimated 150-300 rounds were fired by the suspect. Both deputies were hospitalized and later released.
The man accused of shooting the deputies, 59-year-old Ronald Reed Millsaps, was arrested roughly two hours after deputies initially responded: https://www.wbir.com/article/news/crime/ronald-reed-millsaps-arrested-bcso-deputies-shot/51-9dfadf5a-7755-42d7-920e-1a5afba1e7f4
