Description
Rain has arrived for your Friday morning and you will need to keep the rain gear around throughout most of the day today!
As for our timing, it looks like moderate rain & possible storms will work in as Friday morning rush hour is ongoing, and continue in the early afternoon. Once they move out, warm & breezy weather moves in by Friday late afternoon.
The warming trend will be in full effect Friday, with temps in to the 70s by evening, and these temps continue through the end of the weekend.
Rain chances are pretty low for Saturday, and it looks to be the nicest day of the weekend with afternoon highs in the mid 70s but it will be windy!
Another round of rain & possible storms develop Saturday evening into Saturday night and lasting through Sunday morning, but the bigger concern will come late Sunday, when we are tracking the potential for widespread storms.
There is a risk that we could see strong to severe weather accompany these storms.
It looks like as of early Friday that all modes of severe weather could be possible late Sunday. This includes damaging winds, hail, heavy potentially flooding rain, and the risk for tornadoes. These storms could come after dark, so make sure you have a way to stay connected and informed as you head into the evening and potentially to bed.
Following Sunday and after the storms move out, temperatures will take a dive as we head through next Monday! A brief break comes Tuesday, albeit chilly, before more rain & storms midweek.
