Description
It will be feeling and looking a lot more like spring for the second half of the week into the weekend!
The warming trend begins today and continues through the end of the weekend and with it comes a few chances of rain and thunderstorms.
Thursday will be mainly dry yet warmer, with afternoon highs climbing into the low 60s. With the milder air moving in, it will not be as cold overnight into Friday morning, however rain will develop and could impact some spots for the Friday morning commute. It does look like the second half of the day will be dry but we will continue to monitor the timing as the showers and storms develop.
Rain chances have dropped for Saturday, and it looks to be the nicest day of the weekend with afternoon highs in the mid 70s!
The bigger concern will come through on Sunday, when we are tracking the potential for widespread storms. There is a risk that we could see strong to severe weather accompany these storms. We're just giving you a heads-up this far out so stay connected as the forecast will be updated as the weekend gets closer.
Following Sunday, temperatures will take a dive as we head through next Monday!
