Description
Salvadorans hope Bukele's White House visit brings 'benefits' after he and Trump bonded over a scheme to send migrants to a mega-prison in El Salvador. "I think this visit was for a good reason, maybe to negotiate lower tariffs," says 60-year-old Marvin Romero, noting that Bukele is helping Trump handle gang member deportation.
The US president gave a warm welcome in the Oval Office to 43-year-old Bukele -- the self-proclaimed "world's coolest dictator" who is now Trump's key ally in his controversial deportation push. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
